On 8-9 March 2022, the delegation led by the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan paid a working visit to Strasbourg at the invitation of the Council of Europe. The delegation included Justice of the Constitutional Court Vahe Grigoryan and Assistant to the President of the Constitutional Court Armenak Minasyants.
Within the framework of the working visit, the delegation of the Constitutional Court held meetings with Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Christos Giakoumopoulos, Director General of the Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe, Lilja Gretarsdottir, Head of the Division of Co-operation Programmes of the Council of Europe and Schnutz Dürr, Deputy Secretary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe. During the meetings, the counterparts mutually attached importance to the pivotal role of the Constitutional Court in strengthening the rule of law, democratic values, and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Armenia.
