MEETING WITH ANN M. LUSIN, PROFESSOR OF THE UIC JOHN MARSHALL LAW SCHOOL
Today, on January 22, 2020, H. Tovmasyan, President of the Constitutional Court met with Ann M. Lusin, Professor of the UIC John Marshall Law School - a prominent constitutional law expert who participated in elaboration of the draft of the 1970 Constitution of Illinois.
Prof. Lusin has arrived in Armenia on the occasion of the Central Asia Regional Moot Court Competition on the Right to Environmental Protection organized by the Stetson and Artsakh State Universities in Stepanakert.
The means to increase the effectiveness of cooperation with Diaspora lawyers and Armenian legal institutions were discussed with Prof. Lusin, the former President of the Armenian Bar Association of the United States of America who now is actively engaged in the rule of law state and law development programs in Armenia.
The meeting was also attended by A. Gyulumyan, Vice President of the Constitutional Court and T. Samuelian, former Dean of the American University of Armenia.
