THE AMBASSADOR OF THE NETHERLANDS TO ARMENIA HAD A FAREWELL MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
On the occasion of the completion of the diplomatic mission to the Republic of Armenia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Nicholas Jacob Schermers had a farewell meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan.
During the meeting, the President of the Constitutional Court highly appreciated the cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, emphasizing the invaluable role of Ambassador Niko Schermers in the exemplary collaboration and friendship formed between the High Court and the Embassy.
In his turn, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Niko Schermers noted that the Embassy stands ready to assist the legal institutions of Armenia in the implementation of democratic processes, and in this sense, the cooperation with the High Court is truly exemplary and effective.
The parties emphasized the comprehensive implementation of the Project “Support to the Institutional Reforms of the Constitutional Court” implemented with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands. The Project is aimed at promoting the ongoing institutional reforms of the Constitutional Court, improving the internal business processes of the High Court, and increasing public accountability. Ambassador Niko Schermers expressed hope that the cooperation based on solid foundations will further develop and become more comprehensive.
Arman Dilanyan wished Ambassador Nicholas Jacob Schermers success in his future activities.
