REGULAR SITTING
On July 4, the regular sitting of the Specialized Commission on Constitutional Reforms adjunct to the President of the Republic of Armenia was held at the RA Constitutional Court.
A number of issues related to the drafting of the constitutional law “RA Judicial Code” were the subject of the Council's discussion, as well as issues related to the development of draft laws to be adopted, amended or supplemented due to constitutional reforms of 2015, according to the Decree number 170-A of the President of the Republic of Armenia as of 10 February 2016, as well as the Decision number 245-A as of 10.03.2016 and the Decision number 359 as of 06.04.2016 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the process of development of laws to be adopted, amended or supplemented after the constitutional reforms. In addition, a number of issues (requiring an advisory opinion) put forward by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia were discussed. The Council adopted corresponding conclusions on those issues.
