PRESS RELEASE
On 28 January 2025, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) elected Mr. V. Grigoryan, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, as a judge to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) for a term of office of nine years. His term of office shall commence not later than three months after his election. Before assuming the powers of a judge of the ECHR, Mr. Grigoryan shall continue to serve as a justice of the Constitutional Court until the termination of his powers under the procedure prescribed by the Constitution and the Constitutional Law “On the Constitutional Court”.
