PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE AMBASSADOR OF GERMANY TO ARMENIA

On 10 February 2021, President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Michael Johannes Banzhaf.
During the meeting, Arman Dilanyan highlighted the support of the German Government for the reforms in the judicial sphere, strengthening of the rule of law and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Ambassador Banzhaf thanked for the warm reception noting that the Armenian-German legal relations have always developed in the framework of mutual interest, as well as adding that the existing effective cooperation and friendly relations between the Constitutional Courts of Armenia and Germany are the best evidence of that.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the priorities of the German presidency in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and the implementation of joint programs in the field of rule of law.
