PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE AMBASSADOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY TO THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
On October 23, 2024, the President of the Constitutional Court, Arman Dilanyan hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia, Claudia Busch.
Congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of the start of the diplomatic mission in the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Constitutional Court noted that the Armenian-German partnership is anchored on legal and value system interests, as well as similarities in constitutional models. Arman Dilanyan attached importance to the enhancement of relations between the High Courts of the two countries in the context of strengthening democratic values and the rule of law, as well as the protection of human rights and the effective implementation of reforms in the field of constitutional justice.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany expressed gratitude for the warm reception and expressed mutual confidence that democracy, the rule of law, and constitutionality are the keys to security, stability, and development. Ambassador Claudia Busch expressed her determination to support the exchange of experience and strengthening of legal dialogue between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of Germany, both in the working format and through mutual visits.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon a number of issues of mutual interest.
