PRESIDENTS OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HAD A MEETING IN SAINT PETERSBURG
On 29 June 2022, within the framework of the working visit to the Russian Federation, the President of the Constitutional Court Mr Arman Dilanyan had a meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation Mr Valery Zorkin.
While welcoming the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation extended gratitude for the visit and noted that such contacts give a new impetus to the inter-court bilateral relations.
In his turn, Mr Arman Dilanyan expressed gratitude to the President of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation for the extended warm reception and he attached importance to the further development of cooperation between the bodies administering constitutional justice in Armenia and Russia.
During the meeting, the parties addressed the Armenian-Russian inter-court dialogue, as well as they exchanged ideas on the possibilities of implementing reciprocally beneficial legal programs in the Eurasian area, particularly in the fields of constitutional justice, exchange of legal experience and the study of judicial practice.
