THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT ORGANIZED ON THE OCCASION OF KING'S DAY, THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS
On April 27, 2023, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan participated in the official reception held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia on the occasion of King's Day, the national holiday of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The President of the High Court congratulated the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Nicholas Jacob Schermers, as well as all the employees of the Embassy, and the friendly Dutch people on the occasion of King's Day, the national holiday, and noted that the Netherlands has historically been the cradle of key concepts of the modern international legal order, the philosophy of sovereign statehood and the rule of law, and the guiding principles of international humanitarian law.
In his congratulatory speech, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan noted the following: “King's Day, the national holiday of the Netherlands, is a symbol of national unity and solidarity. A state based on democratic values shall be established and strengthened on this ideological basis. The Netherlands preserves national values, and is the best example of building a society based on high civic consciousness, confronting the challenges of a changing world, and moving forward.”
