20TH MEETING OF THE JOINT COUNCIL ON CONSTITUTIONAL JUSTICE WAS HELD IN SOFIA
Upon the invitation of the European Commission for Democracy Through Law (Venice Commission), the Assistant to the President of the Constitutional Court Naira Hovhannisyan, the liaison officer of the Constitutional Court to the Venice Commission participated in the 20th meeting of the Joint Council on Constitutional Justice which was held in Sofia. The exchange of information and experience between the liaison officers and members of the Venice Commission aims to strengthen the cooperation between the courts thus ensuring the continuous dialogue between the courts.
The meeting of the Joint Council of Constitutional Justice was followed by the conference entitled “Measures taken by States in response to the COVID-19 crisis and their impact on constitutional justice – constitutional case-law on emergency situations".
