THE VISIT OF THE DELEGATION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY TO ARMENIA LED BY ANDREAS VOßKUHLE, PRESIDENT OF THE COURT, CONCLUDED
The official visit of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia, led by Andreas Voßkuhle, President of the Court, concluded. The delegation visited the Constitutional Court of Armenia, where the Presidents of the Constitutional Courts of the two countries had a private discussion followed by a working discussion on the “Scope of consideration of individual complaint in constitutional litigation”. The participants also discussed a number of decisions of the Constitutional Courts of the two countries.
In the framework of the visit, the delegation members visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The delegation also visited the Genocide Museum-Institute, where Andreas Voßkuhle made a note in the memorial book of the Museum.
During the visit, the delegation met with the President and Prime Minister of Armenia. The guests visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where the delegation had an audience with the Catholicos of All Armenians. Then the delegation members familiarized themselves with the exposition of the Treasury Museum of Holy Echmiadzin.
