THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA HOSTED THE DELEGATION OF THE FEDERAL SUPREME COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF IRAQ, WHICH IS IN ARMENIA UPON THE INVITATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan hosted the delegation of the Federal Supreme Court of the Republic of Iraq, led by the President of the Federal Supreme Court of the Republic of Iraq, Judge Jassim Muhammad Abboud, which is in Yerevan on an official visit upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia. The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Dilanyan also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties stressed the role of the established judicial and legal system for the states in strengthening the sovereignty, democracy and legitimacy. The parties also exchanged views on the specifics of activities of the state institutions of Armenia and Iraq.
