FAREWELL MEETING WITH AMBASSADOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY
On June 5, 2019, President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan hosted Matias Kisler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia upon completion of his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The President of the Constitutional Court thanked the Ambassador for effective cooperation and wished him further success.
The Ambassador thanked the Constitutional Court and Hrayr Tovmasyan personally for the active and productive cooperation in recent times which made possible to organize a substantial and productive visit of the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Federal Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia.
Hrayr Tovmasyan highly appreciated the effective cooperation of the Constitutional Court with the GIZ legal program, which assisted to implement numerous exchange programs with the German partners in the field of constitutional law. The interlocutors also touched upon the reforms and problems of the judiciary in the Republic of Armenia, highlighting the implementation of these reforms in line with the RA Constitution and international commitments.
At the end of the meeting Hrayr Tovmasyan noted that Matias Kisler will be remembered in Armenia as a well-known and successful diplomat whose mission has registered new successes for the strengthening and promoting the interrelations between Armenia and Germany in different spheres. The Ambassador noted that he was leaving Armenia with positive impressions.
