PRESENTATION OF THE ARMENIA VERSION OF THE BOOK "TAKING A CASE TO THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS"
On 14 December 2022, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan and Justice of the Constitutional Court Vahe Grigoryan participated in the presentation of the Armenian version of the book "Taking a Case to the European Court of Human Rights" authored by Philip Leach, Professor of Human Rights Law at Middlesex University School of Law in Great Britain.
During the presentation of the book, Justice of the Constitutional Court Vahe Grigoryan, who is also one of the co-authors of the Armenian translation of the book, delivered a speech on the relevance of the Armenian publication of the book “Taking a Case to the European Court of Human Rights” in the Armenian context.
This publication of the book includes the updated and detailed explanations of the substantive law of the European Convention. The publication of the Armenian version of the book was supported by the Project “Support to the judicial reform – enhancing the independence and professionalism of the judiciary in Armenia” funded by the European Union and Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe within the framework of the Partnership for Good Governance (PGG II) programme.
