THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT CUTS ITS ANNUAL SPENDING
In 2021, 683 million 877 thousand AMD will be allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for the operations of the Constitutional Court, which is approximately 23 million AMD less than the approved budget for 2020.
“The budget application of the Constitutional Court for 2021 consists of two activities, one of which refers to the operation of the Constitutional Court and administration of constitutional justice. The second is the reserve fund of the Constitutional Court. The budget for the operation of the Constitutional Court is 683 million 877 thousand AMD", stated the newly appointed Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court Samvel Arakelyan at the joint sitting of the Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
89.3% of the approved budget will be aimed at the payment of wages.
