ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT ARMAN DILANYAN ON THE OCCASION OF THE NEW YEAR AND CHRISTMAS
Dear compatriots!
2023 is coming to an end. We say goodbye to the passing year with the conviction that all the challenges and difficulties that the Armenian people and the Armenian statehood had to face this year, will make us even stronger and more consolidated.
The events of 2023 have made it inevitable to reassess the values that we adhere to as a nation and a state. We must draw insights from history, realizing that an educated society with a high level of legal consciousness is the strength of the state, and the consolidation of our people is the key to the security of our motherland.
The forced displacement of the Armenian population of Artsakh left an indelible mark on the hearts of each of us, prompting us to seek and overthink the mistakes that inevitably led to the fact that our brothers and sisters left their homeland. Each of us, now more than ever, must have an unshakable will, desire and determination not to give up, to fight and create.
I hope that thanks to the pan-Armenian consolidation, the coming year will be a year of progress and achievements.
Dear citizens!
The past year was difficult also for the Constitutional Court. It was marked by a process of profound institutional reforms. The High Court implemented many projects aimed at the better and efficient implementation of constitutional justice. Over the past year, several events were planned and implemented aimed at ensuring the transparency of the activities of the Constitutional Court, intensifying relations with both the professional community and civil society, the media, representatives of educational institutions, and international partners.
My dear compatriots!
In the coming year, my best wishes and words of gratitude are first and foremost with the military personnel standing at their posts and guarding our borders, whom I would like to congratulate on the New Year and Christmas, and also express my gratitude to them for their selfless service to the homeland.
May 2024 be for all of us a year of lasting peace, fruitful activities and success for the benefit of our country and people!
May God bless our people!
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone!
