PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT PARTICIPATED IN THE PHOTO EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
On 10 December 2022, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan participated in the photo exhibition dedicated to the International Human Rights Day.
In his welcoming remarks, Arman Dilanyan emphasized that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which marks this day and serves as basis for many legal instruments, is also implemented through such events, many legal projects jointly implemented by state institutions and the civil society, thus increasing the public legal awareness and sensitivity to human rights issues. At the opening ceremony, the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, and the Head of the “For Equal Rights” Education Center Gayane Abrahamyan also made welcoming remarks.
Within the framework of the event, the "Journalists for Rights" annual media award ceremony took place, and within the framework of the ceremony the President of the High Court awarded the documentarian and photographer Vaghinak Ghazaryan with a memorable souvenir and a certificate in the category "Special Award".
