THE DELEGATION HEADED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT PAID A WORKING VISIT TO POLAND

On 9 September 2021, the delegation of the Constitutional Court headed by President Arman Dilanyan and composed of the Justices Ashot Khachatryan and Edgar Shatiryan, as well as Assistant to the President Armenak Minasyants paid a working visit to the Republic of Poland for participating in the activities of the international conference on “Constitutional Identity”, convened on the occasion of the 230th Anniversary of the adoption of the Polish Constitution of 1791.
After the summing up of the activities of the conference, President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan and President of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland Julia Przyłębska held a tete-a-tete meeting. During the meeting the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland expressed her gratitude to Arman Dilanyan for accepting the invitation and paying a working visit to Poland, adding that the Constitutional Tribunal attaches high importance to the development of friendly relations with the Constitutional Court of Armenia. Arman Dilanyan, in his turn, conveyed thankfulness to Julia Przyłębska for the warm reception and extended congratulations on the 230th Anniversary of the adoption of the Polish Constitution of 1791. The President of the Constitutional Court emphasized the importance of consistent development and enhancement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Constitutional Tribunal of Poland. Afterward Arman Dilanyan and Julia Przyłębska continued the discussion in extended format and addressed the matters related to the strengthening of inter-court Armenian-Polish relations and the judicial practice of the bodies exercising constitutional review.
At the end of the meeting, Arman Dilanyan invited Julia Przyłębska to pay a reciprocal visit to Yerevan.
