THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE CHIEF OF PARTY OF THE USAID/ARMENIA JUSTICE SECTOR SUPPORT PROJECT
On 21 June 2023, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan hosted the Chief of Party of the USAID/Armenia Justice Sector Support Project Marc Lassman and the USAID Project members.
The President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan highly appreciated the projects implemented by the US Embassy in Armenia, which are aimed at the strengthening of the rule of law, access to justice, and modernization of court administration, as well as he extended his readiness to support the effective implementation of the USAID project initiatives.
The Chief of Party of the USAID/Armenia Justice Sector Support Marc Lassman welcomed the institutional reforms launched at the Constitutional Court and reiterated the sincere commitment of the USAID mission to support the successful implementation of those initiatives.
At the request of the USAID/Armenia Justice Sector Support Project counter-partners, the process of the internal institutional reforms of the Constitutional Court and the emerging immediate needs were presented.
During the meeting, the parties addressed the implementation of joint events in the areas of promoting the rule of law and improving the institutional capacities of the Constitutional Court. The parties committed to co-agree on the operational level on the precises frameworks and strategic priorities of the cooperation between the Constitutional Court and the USAID/Armenia Justice Sector Support Project.
