VISIT TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF ARMENIA BY THE RETIRED PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT, JUSTICE MS. SILVIA FERNÁNDEZ DE GURMENDI
On 24 October 2024, the 3rd President of the International Criminal Court (2015-2018, The Hague, the Netherlands), former President of the Assembly of States Parties to Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (2021-2023), Justice Ms. Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi was hosted by the Constitutional Court’s Vice-President, Justice Mr. Vahe Grigoryan, and Justice Mr. Davit Khachaturyan.
Welcoming the guest, Vice-President Grigoryan presented the activities, current achievements and challenges of the Constitutional Court. Issues related to the field of constitutional justice in the aspect of compliance with the requirements of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court were also touched upon.
