STUDENTS OF THE FRENCH UNIVERSITY IN ARMENIA FOUNDATION VISITED THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
On November 25, 2024, Justice of the Constitutional Court Yervand Khundkaryan hosted 4th-year students of the Faculty of Law of the French University in Armenia Foundation, who visited the Constitutional Court within the framework of the Course on Administrative Proceedings.
A number of issues related to the appeal of judicial acts in administrative proceedings through appeal and cassation, as well as the review of judicial acts upon the grounds of new or newly emerged circumstances were touched upon during the visit. At the same time, the students raised several questions about the powers of the Constitutional Court and the judiciary of the Republic of Armenia.
At the end of the visit, Justice of the Constitutional Court Yervand Khundkaryan handed over to Inesa Petrosyan, a lecturer at the French University in Armenia Foundation, his co-authored handbook “Independence of the Judiciary” published a few days ago, as a present to the French University in Armenia Foundation. Justice Khundkaryan wished the students to strive to assume a judge's highly responsible mission in the future and contribute to creating a positive image of a judge.
