PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF BELGIUM TO THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
On October 3, 2024, the President of the Constitutional Court, Arman Dilanyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Eric De Muynck.
Welcoming Ambassador De Muynck, the President of the Constitutional Court attached importance to the presence of the Belgian Embassy in Armenia which was opened a year ago, and expressed hope that the activities of the first Ambassador would greatly contribute to the development and strengthening of Armenian-Belgian cooperation in the legal field.
Eric De Muynck expressed gratitude for the warm reception, emphasizing that the Kingdom of Belgium is willing to contribute to the ongoing democratic and judicial reforms in Armenia. The Ambassador assured that he would make the necessary efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Belgium in the field of constitutional justice. The parties also touched upon the prospects for the strengthening of legal relations and the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.
Upon the request of Ambassador De Muynck, Arman Dilanyan presented the scope of powers of the Constitutional Court, the specifics of its activities, and the ongoing reforms.
