PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT SENT A CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT OF CANADA

On behalf of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, I would like to convey to you the warmest congratulations on the occasion of Canada’s Day.
The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia attaches high importance to the consistent strengthening of the partnership with the Supreme Court of Canada. Our partnership is anchored on the shared democratic values, mutual trust and the respect for the principle of rule of law. I would like to welcome your personal efforts and the important role of the Supreme Court of Canada in the process of reintegration of the Constitutional Court of Armenia in the Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts, which has surely opened new prospects for enhancing our cooperation also on the multilateral level.
I am hopeful that the friendly Armenian-Canadian bilateral ties will also serve as a solid foundation for strengthening the dialogue between our courts. In this context, I would like to reiterate our willingness to consider new opportunities for enhancing our bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Supreme Court of Canada.
