PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HAD A WORKING MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS IN ARMENIA
On 25 April 2022, President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia H.E. Nico Schermers.
In his opening remarks, Arman Dilanyan highly commended the continuous assistance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the consolidating of democratic institutions, as well as the reforms aimed at the protection of human rights and strengthening the rule of law in Armenia. President of the Constitutional Court stressed the importance of the inter-judicial relations between Armenia and The Netherlands, which can contribute to the further enhancement of friendly ties between the two countries and the exchange of judiciary experience.
In his turn, H.E. Nico Schermers conveyed his gratitude to the President of the Constitutional Court for hosting the working meeting, noting that the High Court is one of the primary national partners of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Armenia. Ambassador Schermers reiterated his commitment to contribute all necessary efforts aimed at the deepening of cooperation in the fields of the rule of law and the protection of human rights.
In the course of the working meeting, the parties attached importance to the implementation of new joint projects and convening of events in the fields of constitutional law and constitutional justice.
